What Kinda Music by Tom Misch & Yussef Dayes
The title track off Dayes and Misch's upcoming collaborative album, combines Dayes' experimental jazz background and Misch’s production quality into an eerie melody. Dayes’ unsettling percussive intro gets slowly pulled together into a silky rhythm by Misch, bringing up the tempo and layering in his vocals. This is Dayes and Misch's first project together, but the two are cut from the same cloth, hailing from from South East London. Here's a look at their first single off the album.

Trying by Orion Sun
On her debut album, Orion Sun delivers Trying to us, a reflection on the death of a close friend. Going by the stage name Orion Sun, 23-year-old Tiffany Majette does it all – singer, songwriter, producer and multi-instrumentalist. A Philly native, Majette’s latest work doesn’t easily fit into a genre, but influences of jazz and R&B are present, wrapped into a song that seemingly envelopes you as it builds. Check out Trying and her album Hold Space For Me.
