An indie band from the heartland of America, Sports is made up of brothers Christian and Jacob Theriot and longtime friend Cale Chronister. The Oklahoma raised trio pulls together lo-fi rock / R&B tracks that feel straight out of a late 80's movie. You Are the Right One is the opening track to their 2015 debut album, Naked All the Time, and is really a song about unrequited love and biding time. This is another great recommendation from my good friend Lucas.
Baltisoul by Ks French
Ks French is one of the many artists that has contributed to the massive collection of French House music that is taking over globally. Baltisoul, his most popular stream, is a silky disco track with a hypnotic base line. The vocal overlay exudes themes of classic soul music mixed in seamlessly with the occasional guitar riff. This track is one of four featured on the French DJ and Producer's 2018 EP Bad Groove. While he has a limited following on Spotify, and not much information is available about him, he's still worth giving a listen to below.
